Our full-service facility brings together engineering, design, metallurgy and precision machining all under one roof. We’ve invested heavily in skilled people, advanced processes and modern CNC machining centres capable of delivering high tolerance machining across a wide variety of metallic and occasionally non metallic materials.

Additional Capabilities:
In addition to our wide range of CNC machining capabilities, IIDEA have considerable precision sawing & cutting capabilities, laser marking, metallurgical and engineering expertise making us a one stop shop for component cut-ups and mechanical test specimen manufacture.

Test specimen production:
In addition to our materials and engineering expertise, as former developers and owners of a UKAS Accredited Mechanical and Metallurgical Testing Laboratory, IIDEA also have a wealth of experience in the production of mechanical test pieces in a wide range of materials to many of the routinely tested specimen standards and geometries.
We also have significant experience in complex cut ups of components large and small for the extraction and manufacture of test piece blanks and test pieces and can produce custom or unusual test specimens.
We are able to offer management of mechanical test programs from complex sample extraction, test piece manufacture / preparation and expediting of testing programs through a number of accredited testing laboratories. Test piece production from a customer’s free issue material includes:
