IIDEA Provide SHU-Racing with Two Triumph Daytona 660 Motorcycles

2^nd of December saw IIDEA officially hand over a pair of Triumph Daytona 660 motorbikes to the SHU Racing Team in the Hertha Ayrton STEM Centre at Sheffield Hallam University.  The two bikes are provided to the Team by IIDEA Limited as part of our sponsorship ongoing package for the next couple of years. It is a real pleasure to be able to continue to support this wonderful team going forward.

2026 will mark our tenth year of support for SHU racing and nine years as a team sponsor at various levels of activity.  The first parts we supplied to the team were a set of 4 wheel hubs which were required on a very short lead time due to a last-minute let down by another supplier.

We are excited to see the car compete again at Silverstone in 2026, this will be the final year with the current powertrain, 2027 should see the debut of the Triumph powered car in a heavily redesigned chassis needed to accommodate the much wider transverse-mounted 3-cylinder engine vs the current single cylinder power plant.
