A massive congratulation to SHU racing who over the weekend secured their best result ever at the Formula Student event at Silverstone in the UK. Placed 21st out of a field of 81 entrants is a fantastic achievement as they build on the knowledge and experience gained over several seasons of competition in this event.
During the time we have sponsored the team the car has continue to evolve and improve as the team learn from and build on previous experiences and refine the design of components on the vehicle as well as introducing new ideas to the car in order to keep moving forward. It was great to see the light-weight titanium hubs and wishbone ends clearly visible in the suspension system of the car and gave a feeling of pride in ourselves as well as the team to be a part of such a worthy project. The car this year looked amazing and yet again sets a high bar for the team next year to match and hopefully surpass.
As we say goodbye to many members of the team who will graduate and move into full-time positions we look forward to continuing our partnership and meeting the new members of the SHU Racing Team in September. This will be an exciting experience for us all as we watch them on their journey with the team making their way from evolutionary concept vehicle to the final finished article less than a year later and having a fully fledged and working vehicle competing at the 2020 event.
